I decided to write this post right after I opened the new Seagate External Hard Drive box, delivered by Borderlinx , DHL. A month ago I ordered a 3TB External Seagate HDD from Amazon.com. The price at the time was discounted to 109.99$, previously 139.99$, which would be the deal of the year, I assumed. Upon the estimation of the efficient DHL staff, shipping and all the additional fees (customs, VAT, clearance, etc..) should cost around 52$. Order being made on amazon.com, the package reached my virtual address (Ohio, US, address being given free of charge upon registration with borderlinx) in 2 business days, which was more than perfect. This is where the hassle began. Outstanding deals usually take place during holidays, which, of course, is a hectic time of the year for all freight companies, due to the escalating number of orders and the additional stress imposed by global shippers. This post is to talk about Lebanese humans, nothing more, nothing less. And for your information, Humanity STILL exists in my country, whether you've seen it or not, whether you agree or you don't. A few minutes after 2:30PM yesterday Friday OCT 19th 2012, a huge explosion shook the building I work at and of course, the whole area, to the point that I thought glass was going to break all over. It was easy to see from my window people in the street looking towards one direction, that is of the nearby Ashrafiyyeh. My colleague thought it was the nearby gas station that exploded, but going to the building's roof, it was more than clear. Sassine was on fire. I had so many friends over there, Reine worked in the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Maryam lives there, Navia and Riwa also live/work there, Chris also, and they were all one minute away from the explosion. Slimegg on Flickr It's been more than 6 months since this blog's been operating. I personally am not familiar with any scale that would measure my performance up to this moment, no preset rule to allow me evaluate how good I've been doing. But, looking back at the first few posts and what's been grabbing my attention the last few weeks, I must say, the blogging thing turned out to be a major turnover in my life. I have grown up, I have learned to evaluate things whilst being watched. I learned how not to lie to one's self in order to make the surrounding comfortable in the blink of an eye, but to put the effort enough into making magic happen. I'm welcoming my 5000th viewer, for the first time of course, fingers crossed I'll be welcoming the 50,000th view count soon enough. Thank you readers :)

I received the morning call from our sweet secretary telling me I got mail. As soon I knew of the package downstairs, I screamed inside a huge "YAY", which, to my surprise later was the same reaction the MOO people have expected for me. The package was so tiny yet so marvelous. What's shown up there is the thank you card along with a discount coupon on the back ^_^ Just as I've been told, the box contains 50 awesomely designed business cards that hid below this little critter screaming out loud a cute " BOO, I can see you ", which actually was the nicest gesture, enough to make me smile. I'm taking a break from thoughtful topics, and writing only for the sake of writing. For my loyal readers, you might have noticed already the new layout. The most valuable up to this moment is the  Bucket List Page  where I recently decided to share some of my most private aspirations. The bucket list, or othwise known as "Things to do before I die" list, is already written in my diaries, originally a few items, now having 107 of them, number is still growing. Looking back at the first few items in the Bucket List, one can only sarcastically smile noticing how much has he grown. Other pages apparently having their names inside quotes, are in fact search results for the mentioned topic. A photo was posted today on a local meme group, run by a bunch of close friends. I don't call myself a funny person, never do. But that exact photo caught my eye, and simply launched a burst of thoughts and humorous ideas concerning the characters involved. There were two of the most famous and most renowned political figures in Tripoli. I still have no idea why it's called a "Mazad" (meaning auction in english) since there will be no bids of any kind. "Beirut Mazad" is the new website we're preparing for to be launched soon.
